1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy explains how the Tratak mobile application, this website, and our support channels process information. Tratak is operated by PPLST Tech Private Limited, Office No. 933, B-3, Spaze I.T Park, Sector 49, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122018, India (“PPLST Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Information stored on your device
Tratak does not require an account or upload your practice history to a Tratak cloud profile.
- Session records: session end time, duration, and whether the device was flat or upright.
- Preferences: selected ambient sound and reminder status/time.
- App state: small values required for the app to function.
You may delete individual sessions, export them as CSV, or remove local app data as described in Data & Deletion.
3. Device features
Tratak processes motion-sensor readings on your device to detect stillness, estimate phone posture, and animate the flame. Raw motion readings are not sent to us or Firebase.
If you enable a reminder, it is scheduled locally. Optional Android Do Not Disturb access is controlled through system settings.
Tratak does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photo-library, or precise-location access.
4. Limited analytics and website hosting
We use Firebase Analytics to measure app opens, screen usage, core-flow usage, and reliability. Analytics may include an installation identifier and basic app, device, operating-system, language, broad-location, screen, and usage information.
We do not send saved session records, session duration, reminder times, sound choices, raw motion readings, or CSV contents to Analytics. We do not use Analytics for advertising or public profiles, and we do not sell personal information.
This website has no analytics or advertising scripts. Firebase Hosting processes ordinary request and security logs needed to deliver the website.
5. How information is used and shared
We use information to operate and improve Tratak, maintain security and reliability, respond to requests, and comply with law. Google/Firebase provides analytics and website hosting. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or service integrity.
Where required, processing is based on our agreement with you, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligations. Service providers may process information outside your country subject to applicable safeguards.
6. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall Tratak, subject to device backups. Analytics, support, security, and legal records are kept only as needed for their purpose and applicable requirements.
Because Tratak has no account, we may be unable to connect Analytics data to you. See Data & Deletion for available controls.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. Email admin@pplsttech.com with “Tratak Privacy Request” and enough information to understand and verify your request. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
8. Children
Tratak is not directed to children below the minimum digital-consent age applicable in their location, and we do not knowingly create child profiles. A parent or guardian should supervise any minor’s use, including screen-viewing duration and suitability. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through a support channel.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Local-only storage reduces remote exposure, but no device, network, or service is completely secure. Protect your device and review exports before sharing them.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when features, providers, laws, or practices change. The updated date will appear above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through an appropriate notice.
